Tk Cheng is a certified Master Trainer in Hypnotherapy(International Association of Counselors and Therapists) in America under the tutelage of Dr George Bien and is a Certified Instructor with International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association. He is trained in Generative Trance developed by Dr Stephen Gilligan and he is also trained in Parts Therapy by the guru Dr Roy Hunter.He received his Certified Hypnotherapist training from NGH, NCH, IACT and IMDHA in February 2008. Having graduated with a degree in Psychology from the National University of Singapore and a graduate diploma in Counselling from Swinburne Technological University, he has found joy in helping people with Hypnotherapy. He strongly believes that sometimes a simple nudge is all it takes to move people.

He worked at the prestigious Camden medical center for 4 years before heading out to start his own private practice. He works in all areas of hypnosis and especially enjoys helping people with issues that are preventing them from enjoying life the their fullest. Adopting an eclectic approach to his practice, he uses a wide range of counselling techniques in conjunction with Hypnotherapy to best suit his client’s needs. On top of his practice, he gives regular talks to various organizations on the topic of hypnotherapy, Stress Management, Insomnia and a wide range of other topics infused with techniques of Self-hypnosis developed by himself. Some organizations that have benefitted from his talks are Singapore Management University, Singapore Police Force, Immigrations and Customs Authority, Cedar Girls School, Singapore General Hospital, Institute of Mental Health, National University of Singapore and many more!

With his cheerful outlook on life, he particularly enjoys working with children. With his many years of experience working with children in various settings, he has found joy in helping children unleash their potential and be the best that they can be. He has published a book that comprises of some of the therapeutic stories that he crafted in his practice. The book is called “A Bowl Full of Ice Cream” and it can be purchased at Kinokuniya, MPH, Times and Popular bookstore in Singapore.
